BT Engineers kindly aerosoled grey spray paint over newly cleaned and pointed brick work and block paved drive.

I was advised it was 'special, designed for the job' and would be able to be cleaned off when they had installed the extra line they were instructed to do.

I have - without any success tried to remove the said 'graffitti' with brick and patio cleaner (the type that dissolves concrete), and with a wire brush !

Its all still there, 18 months later, enmeshed in the textured surface of the brick

Wondering if anyone has any experience, would paint stripper do any better, but would it also stain the red brick work ? or is there a product folk could recommend.

Jet washing was suggested as a method, but am waring of knocking out the new pointing on the brick work, and flushing out the silica sand from under the block paving.

Curses to BT.

Any thoughts (including cursing BT).
