Can't find 8 OHM extension speakers?

Hi sorry for clogging up this forum with my questions

Just need some advice
Im going to wire 2 extension speakers to my texecom premier 40 panel.

Is 2 16 ohms fine or do i have to get 2 8 ohms speakers?

2 x 16 ohms in parallel will equal one x 8 ohm speaker.

2 x 8 ohms in parallel will equal 4 ohm which might be too little for the panel.

Do the instructions give a minimum speaker impedance?

it says 1x 16 ohm speaker must be connected or 2x 8 ohm speakers to male the total 16 ohm required

the panel is a texecom premier 48.

If it requires 16 ohms load then 2 x 16 ohms in parallel will be too low.

You will have to wire them in series to make 32 ohm, and the sound output may be reduced.

I've just been through the manual again and it says the minimum load must be 8 OHM.

I think im going to connect 16 ohm in a parallel format.

The Texecom 48 manual says >
"This output can be used for driving up to one 16Ω or two 8Ω loudspeakers"

If you want two why not buy two 8Ω, Google is your friend, or in most if not all cases so is ebay.

yeah your right the manual does say that but the problem is i cant find anu 8 ohm speakers, only the actual speaker itself (not in case or anything) comes up.

can anyone find me a link to an 8 ohm speaker?
