Cant remove old upvc door beading

Hi,
I am trying to remove a broken glass panel in a upvc door. I researched from other posters and purchased a chisel knife and a mallet.

Trying to get under the beading is making a mess of the beading.

The door was installed around 25 years ago along with windows.. I have some of the old window beading if this helps.

Remove the outer rubber gasket, go inside and push the glass outwards, should release the bead

It should prise out with a scraper or flat bladed screwdriver
