Can't source parts required by electrician

Well I have no idea what an isco is.

If you say "hoover" we might presume vacuum cleaner.

Or "Stanley" Knife will a "Draper" knife do?

Or a "Megger" will a "Fluke" or "HT Italia" suffice?

or a "Henley" and you give them another tail block.

I used to work behind a counter the odd Saturdays and was never surprised what folk asked for .

One regular, always came in dressed in blue boiler suit and flat cap along with his customer to pay for the goods.

Two of his classics were

A "SCROBE" he then adds "for an immersion heater" so you guess he wants a rod stat. LOL.

"A 30 amp ring" he says gesticulating a circle with his index finger.
So you give him a 30A junction box and he is happy. LOL

Another one asked for some "lead lights" I thought he wanted something for a church window. Turns out it was LED lighting.

My mate (an industrial sparks) was gobsmacked the first time he witnessed me explain to someone they had wired their under cupboard lighting switch across the mains "It`s OK when light on but when light off it blows fuse" .

"You knew straight away what he had done! How come you knew that quickly as it seems a daft thing to do?"

"Because I usually get at least one a week with that Old Chestnit" says I.

Oh dear

I know this electrician, he's always on holiday except when he's ill or gone to a family funeral.

I can't understand how he makes a living.

Lectrician needs to read what BAS put in the box!

In the real world sparks don't tell a cuzzy to get an isco!

Well I still don`t know what they are :?

Probably an abbreviation for something :x

I hate abbreviations.

far too many of them IMHO Whoops

Somebody put me out of my misery and explain what it is

So far I got :-

"ISCO may refer to:

International Standard Classification of Occupations, an International Labour Organization (ILO) classification structure
Information Sharing Customer Outreach, a directorate within the office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) under the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI)
In-situ Chemical Oxidation, a way to remediate organic contamination below the ground surface by direct injection of oxidants"

Not much help
