Hi,

My electric pressure washer hummed but didnt run and i remember a member talking about pumps and capacitors.

I opened it and removed the big capacitor. Its a likely suspect :cautious:

Im trying to find a replacement and wondered what the numbers on it actually mean. Its a push fit with 2 pins into a socket with a rubber boot round it, essentially its needs to be bang on the correct diameter, pin placement and height.

I understand its upper voltage limit 500VAC and capacitance 25uF, what does the rest mean?

Much appreciate any help in deciphering this one.

Thanks

Graeme

I guess they are just manufacturers codes and part numbers, Graeme......the capacitance and working voltage are all you need.
John :)

Its a copy of a Karcher made by einhell i believe for Aldi. Do you think they would have used the same capacitor?

The CBB60 seemed to bring up a lot of similar looking caps, the 45/81/20 doesnt seem to relate to its dimensions or anything. I guess its worth a punt buying the karcher one and trying it.

Thanks

Graeme

Turns out the bottom set relate to
Climatic categories: 40/85/21
meaning= Minimum -°c / Maximum +°c / Damp Heat days

I got this while looking through ebay listings but i guess it makes sense. It did fail when it was very cold, interesting.

Thanks for your help all
