Poor bugger could not be given the vaccine jab as he was under treatment for pneumonia. Chin up Sir Tom and stay strong!!
 
Sir Tom was taken by his family to Barbados for the Christmas Break , IMO not a good idea .

Lifting the Lock Down over Christmas has cost this Country Dearly in lost lives to the virus .
 
What is it with these youngsters galivanting half way across the world to Barbados, and making non essential trips to Windsor Castle to collect something called a knighthood??

All the good the publicity he made for the NHS , has been dashed by his visit to Barbados . There was no need for him to go abroad and submit himself to catching the Covid .
 
It says on the news that his family are with him at his bedside. That's not good, is it? :( (Or allowed of he has Covid).

We don't know if Barbados was a bucket list wish of his; and that his attitude wasn't, "I've had a blast, what's the worst that can happen to me, a 100 year old man in a pandemic? Let's go!"
