Any good companies out there?

Fair dos. Ours came down quite substantially this year. I understand it's something to do with the government clamping down on the ambulance chasers.
Depends on what you are driving, your age, where you live, occupation etc etc...So is 200 quid a good deal?

Although these days it doesn't depend on your gender, despite the fact that there are clear gender differences when it comes to driving a car...which are almost certainly going to have more of an effect on your driving style than your occupation.
Anyway, I read last week that since insurance companies have been prevented from quoting based on gender, women's prices have stayed around the same, but men's have come down.
Sounds reasonable.
I've paid *around* £300 every year since 1997, despite having - at various times - eight points on my licence, a heavily modified car, different cars, been single, had a girlfriend as a named driver, lived in different areas, had a manual - and professional - occupation, gone from a couple of years NCD to full NCD, and got sixteen years older...
What do you drive?
I think that's a good quote, want to supply a link? ta.
eight points on my licence,
blah blah blah
Ah, well you see that was in my non-professional days. I became an engineer and suddenly also became respectableeight points on my licence,
