Hello. I have a conservatory, which, as you may assume, is insanely hot in summer, and freezing in winter.
I currently have exposed brick, tiled floor, and a climate control unit out there. I will be plastering and having a radiator installed.
I'm considering putting down a carpet in there to make it a little more bearable during the winter months. However the thought of carpet in there during summer months, really does not sound appealing. I therefore need to consider a temporary measure, of having a carpet I can have down in the winter, and take-up and store in the summer.
I am currently considering felt back carpets........ fitted to the shape of the room. However, is this going to give a suitable thickness, to ensure a little warmth under foot. I don't like the idea of just throwing a big rug down there. Any ideas or suggestions would be fantastic. Thanks

Most good retails should be able to arrange "binding" otherwise known as "wipping".

this would allow you to have a large piece of carpet turned into a custom rug that you can roll up in the summer

...its quite popular up here in the north ;)
