Hello

I am thinking about buying a carpet online then getting a local carpet fitter to fit it.

I have already had one company pop around to measure the house they said I need 38m2

Im just worried if I order the carpet online then it arrives the carpet fitter might complain its not enough. See attached floor plan View media item 86032 do you think its enough?

What size roll is it coming off?

As that's an estate agents plan have you checked it? They can be wildly off!

There is quite an art to working out how much carpet is needed.

It depends on roll width, repeat pattern, room configuration, particularly if you are running through the entire suite of rooms.

Any carpet fitter is going to need all of that kind of information before coming up with a square meterage.

If you have a fitter in mind, get him/her to work it out for you, then you should have peace of mind.
