cavity insulation

just need a bit of advice just built a small porch with a block wall the cavity is just 45mm as i was limited for space would it be a problem if i filled the cavity with polystyrene balls (like the ones in a bean bag) or will this cause damp????

I wouldn't bother.

Heat savings will be negligible, and you risk more problems than its worth.

Should have done a 9" wall and thermal boarded the internal face :rolleyes:

cheers for the advice woody thought about non cavity wall but was worried bout damp i know now for next time
