A while back I had cavity wall insulation installed under the Warm Front scheme.
I noticed they sealed the rear air brick with silicon sealer but left the front one open.
I've had the floorboards up in the living room and had a good look in the cavity below and can see there is gaps in the brickwork underfloor presumably to allow air flow thru the house. The kitchen floor is part concrete and part floorboards.
Would I be wise to remove the sealer from the rear air brick ?

I can't imagine why they did it and they also sent a guy round a few weeks later to check the work had been done properly.
I think I'll try and open it up

We had installers round back in Jan, and they replaced the air bricks at ground floor, but blocked up the ones in the roof - should they be unblocked?

Thanks
Tony

Not sure, they never said - I think I'll get in touch with them to find out

Thanks
