I\\\'ve got a CB radio, which was previously wired into a car (like a stereo). For the power input, there is one red wire, and one black, and on the casing, it reads \\\"DC 13.2V\\\" - how would I go about wiring a plug onto it for home use?

You need to buy a power supply unit which converts mains down to 13.2v (iirc usually 13.8v) dc, at a suitable power rating for running the CB. You could have a look on ebay, there are plenty on there.

dont forget you will also require a cb aerial and a ground plane for said aerial, and a swr meter to check you have the aerial right.
