i use the videcon / concept pro vxh /vxm old model, cracking machines never had one fail, but quite bulky and have fan noise.
 
I like the look of the concept pro dvr, seems reliable and good and what i was looking for! does it just use a vga monitor like you'd get for a PC?

mines an 8 way you can use hdmi / vga / svhs and composite out all at the same time, i think the 4 way is dvi/vga and composite out.
