Hello
I have a FOSCAM 9805e, and the junction box that used to house the interconnection had letting in water and now the connector on the camera has corroded.
Im quite comfortable with network wiring so I thought I would cut the end of and replace the jack with an RJ45 connector.. when I did this I found 9 wires, where I was expecting 8. The extra one is a purple/violet.
Does anyone know what the actual pinout order should be and what the purple wire is for?

Thanks

Hello Secureiam
I've attached a a couple of pictures. It's the supplied cable.. the one that's attached to the internals of the camera.
Having taken the pictures I now see that this there are 2 wires I don't understand.. purple and GREY.
In the picture from left to right the colours are:
Blue/white

Orange/white
Green/white

I have no idea.

There are some you tube videos on this but not sure if they relate 100% to your camera,
