Hi

A bulb blew on the cooker hood today, and appears to have taken out the PCB in the switch assembly - two of the tracks have broken and the whole board is black.

Any ideas where I could get a replacement part from? The usual suspects like Partsmaster don't seem to stock parts. A google search hasn't turned anything up. I've emailed CDA.

Thanks

Unfortunately you usually do have to deal with CDA direct and they are not the most reliable firm for identifying and sending the correct parts.

Hi

I can confirm your experiences:

Poorly designed hood (it puts the full appliance current through the PCB and there's no internal fusing)
Slow and expensive - £25 quid and six to eight weeks for delivery
Customer service staff unhelpful to the point of rudeness.

Oh well, lesson learnt.
