Ceiling boards 1950s bungalow "Glasgow and Rochester&qu

Uncovering the insulation in this 1950s bungalow, some of the boards are printed with the manufacturer/make of "Glasgow and Rochester". I have googled them, but find no reference anywhere.

As i will be removing some during renovations, just wondering whether anyone knows about these boards? They look potentially as being asbestos, in which case I will have to get the mother-in-law to remove them for me :evil:

okay, managed to uncover some more insulation and saw a further stamp on the board saying "gyproc" so I think that I'm safe, but not totally sure whether gyproc would contain some asbestos as well.

Gyproc dates back to the 40s I think...

Better approach it carefully when I started cutting holes in it!
