The correct thing to do, with a complete novice, is to first describe/define the terms, then use the correct terms. It helps the OP, and anyone who later reads what you post.
I find with ceiling lights that it's easiest to stick with the descriptors on a ceiling rose 'LOOP', 'L', 'N' & 'E' unless they are dealing with the switch too, in which case I'll use 'SL'.
In this instance I believe Harrys post added confusion where the word 'LOOP' was used twice:
Your four cables are -
1. L+N in,
2. L+N loop out to the next room,
3. switch live feed (red) + switch wire (black),
4. finally the looped switch-wire (red) + neutral (black), this goes to your second light - this is the one you are seeking.
