If having the ceiling plasterboard of a small 1st floor bedroom replaced I could use either standard plasterboard (£2.50 / M2) or alternatively I noticed there is a Fireline plasterboard product (£4.16/M2). The cost between these will be nominal for a small room.

Presumably the obvious choice is therefore the Fireline poduct? Any comments? Thanks.

Just over board the ceiling with 12.5mm plaster board.

The ceiling was a lath and plaster ceiling, though with damage to the plaster. The plaster has already been removed, with the laths remaining intact. The laths are currently holding up the loft insulation.
