I want to use an old out building for a workshop and need to put in some sort of suspended ceiling (it has a high vaulted roof with only four large crossbeams along a 10 metre length) to cut down on heat loss. Is there a cheaper alternative to constructing framework and plasterboarding? I was wondering about those fibreboard tiles that sit in wire frames commonly seen in offices - is this cheaper and easy to fit?

Any advice gratefully received.
