We have an extractor fan with timer and ordinary ceiling pull switch but sometimes cannot remember if we have pulled the switch off or on with the extractor on timer, so to solve this I got a pull switch with neon light but the only one I could find is more for a shower 45A or 50A will this be suitable or can anybody suggest any other ideas ?

Switch from the light switch. You'll know if you've left the lights on.

Also people are more likely to turn on the light when they go into the bathroom. Some people are very resistant to turning on fans.

If you have already bought the other switch, then yes, it il be fine.
