New to the site and hoping someone can help!
I bought some Einbauspot GU10 Recessed lights from Lights4Living.com. The electrician fitted the electrical bit and left the wiring in the ceiling while the decorator did his bit. I am now trying to fit the lamp unit and cannot get it to stay in the ceiling. The lecky had never seen this type of fitting before and thought it odd that you have to take the whole unit out to change the bulb! Anyway, I am now trying to fit the unit and although I have followed the instructions to the letter and they look just like the diagram they will not spring into the hole. Has anyone used these before? Can anyone tell me where I may be going wrong? I have been in touch with the company and they have not come back with an answer. Please help, I have 9 fittings dangling from my ceiling!!
Don't worry, I have solved the problem - brute force!
