Hear what you are saying Tony, I only got involved nov / dec and with kitchen / bathroom re-fit being done...

Up to this afternoon still no reply to txts, so off to his house this eve to photograph van and contact corgi / trad standards.

I assume if corgi charge to do the signing off, we'll have to go through the small claims court. Sadly a lesson on NOT to use a distant friend to do work, assuming they are qualified to do the work, because of livery on a van!

I came across this builder who wore a CORGI sweatshirt and had a CORGI sticker on his van but he had stopped being registered about 1989 when it became necessary to take gas assessments.

He later stole my bag containing a nice little digital manometer.

Luckily the householder called me back a year later and paid for the pipework fault to be corrected.
