Central heating controller with a boost button...I want one!

Hi all,

About to go ahead with my plumber for a Glowworm Ultracom 30cxi combi to replace my knackered baxi combi that the heat exchanger is completely shot.

What I'm after though is a thermostat/controller with a boost button. All the ones I've seen don't seem to have boost buttons on them and google's not really helping me much.

I've got a modern warm house so often all I need is a 1 hr boost of the heating for it to warm up enough so keen to have that feature which seemed to be everywhere years ago but a little more rare now!!

Hope someones got some ideas for me.

Why not use a Honeywell CM921? The idea is to maintain a steady temperature, not thrash the nuts of the boiler for an hour...

Most new programmers have the boost feature built in today.

With the 30CXi you get a built in programmer, which if memory serves me right, will have a form of 'boost' or over ride built in.

It is one of the selling points of these boilers that you do not need a seperate programmer
