Hi Everyone

My central heating system is drained at the moment. In the near future I want to replace my hot water tank. To make life easier I would like to isolate the two pipes flow & return) to the existing tank ready for the tank swap. What sort of isolating valves are up to the job? eg 22mm gate valve, stop cock or the isolating valves you see for taps under the bath etc. So many to choose from....a screwfix link would be brilliant.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Martin

Gate valves are good just make sure you don't fit one between the flow from the boiler and the vent pipe.
