Hi, I had a seized pump which I have taken apart, cleaned up and managed to unseize it with WD40. My question is should I oil or grease any of it when I reassemble it.

No point in oiling or geasing the internal parts before refitting, the hot water will only wash it all around your system, potentially doing even more damage!!

Fit a New Pump!!!

Radin I think. But I'm more skint than tight.
Why should I replace a pump that now works fine?

Can anyone actually tell me why I shouldn't fit a working pump rather than making smart arse comments?

He said don't lubricate but then said get a new pump. Mixed message.

What's french for tight ar*e. Fit a nouveau pump.

They dont seem to use an expression, including a reference to the arse, for being tight.

The best word would be "avare" but thats really "avaricious" !

More useful to us is "étanche au gaz" for "gas tight" !

"Radin" seems to be more of a noun like "Scrouge" but because the French mostly put the adjective after the noun the noun/adjective defination seems to become a little blured comnpared with English.

Not sure what is mixed about the message?

Jeezo, trying to get a straight answer out of you lot seems to be impossible.

Of course you should fit the pump back on.
If it works now after you have unseized it. Whats the problem!
Its easy enough to replace it if it breaks down again.
Good luck
