Someone tells me that you can add washing up liquid to your water rather than Fernox etc. Is this true, and does it cause any problems, please.

That's two people in a week who want to use the central heating water to do the washing up. Why? Someone has worked for months to formulate the chemicals to go in central heating systems, do you think they would have bothered if washing up liquid would do? Washing up liquid is corrosive, your heating system is expensive, worth a lot more than the £20 to £30 it will cost you to put in the correct stuff.

Did your information source tell you you should use a non-acidic flushing chemical for 2 weeks befroe flushing and then adding inhibitor?

Do they use filtered chip oil to run their diesel car? ( It works :D))
