Ceramic tiles onto wood

I was just in the process of tiling my bathroom floor when I noticed the adhesive said unsuitable for use on wood,among other things. Is there a special tile adhesive available for this?

Yes ...

You'll get it at B&Q or any tile outlets, go for the rapid set stuff otherwise you will be laying the tiles and unable to walk on them for 24hrs or so.

Could be that the tile adhesive is not a flexible type.

Yes,should use floor tile adhesive which is design for flexibility.
