Hi all, I am a builder with years of experience in domestic dwellings but have recently started taking on commercial work aswell.
I have just won a maintenance contract for a large food restuarant and they called me the other day with afew jobs I have to do, one being changing light tubes in there shop signs.
My question being can i legally change a light tube without being part p registered, i know I cannot really do anything with electrics or gas without being qualified so I don't, but just wanted to question this as it is such a easy job, same as wiring up a plug, can i do simply things like these?
I am just trying to abide by the rules, dont want to end up in a legal battle over a £10 job.
Cheers
Andy
