Changing Light Fitting, extending wire.

How big are the splicelines? Screwfix website saying 110mm long and 100mm wide, seems quite large, might be easier to use 6A terminal blocks?

Andy

And probably a bag of 100 of them. Try toolstation pack of 10 ,two quid item code 87609

You need to reinstate the earth connection. Get another terminal block the same size and attach it to the metal tag while the fitting is off the ceiling. Then fit a short piece of 1mm2 earth wire cut from an offcut of T&E to the other terminal and connect that to the earth wire in the ceiling cable. Don't forget to sleeve the earth wire with G/Y sleeving.

I must be on ignore...

Sorry, not ignoring you securespark, thanks.

Both toolstation and screwfix sell the splicelines in packs of either 10 or 100. Yeah may be bag size, although thats not very helpful to consumer lol.

A pack of 100 is 75x100x70. Sounds like a cardboard box.

TBF, that is the size of the item they are selling.
