Changing lights in Garage - how easy

Hi,

I'm turning my garage into a gym space - nothing extreme, just some rubber flooring. Not going to paint the walls or anything like that.

There is a light in there at present which is wired directly into the light switch. It's all connected to a fuse box dedicated to the garage.

My questions are:

1) How easy would it be to install new lights into this light switch?
2) Would this be a job that someone could do themselves, or do you think it's something that you should get an electrician in for?

It’s usually more certain to add lights from the existing light. It’s guaranteed to work.

though in your case you probably could run the new cable from the switch.

do it yourself. Add some led batterns
