The method you use to connect the oven will depend on the output of the oven.
In the above post, the original post was concerning an oven that would only draw about 10.5A max, so 13A connection was fine.
So we really need to know what size output oven you are changing to and what you have as far as existing circuit (cable size, MCB/fuse size)?
The manufactures instructions should indicate the way it should be fitted.
Also any additional work or alteration to this circuit may come under building controls notifiable work and the fitting of RCD protection maybe required if not already existing, this will depend on the method the additional cable will be installed, so be aware of that!
