My brother in law works for the Salvation Army -they are currently distributing food parcels and helping with food banks
generally though they work on projects to do with slavery, sex trafficking etc.
They also have disaster support vehicles -like at Grenfell, they provided trucks which provide food, toilets etc
They do a lot of good work.
The Salvation army have £Billions in assets, often get left money in wills etc.

The day I see a charity publishing all of their account receipts to the last penny, then I might decide to help them.
So far they take cash, spend 99% fueling their expensive lifestyle and call themselves a charity to avoid paying taxes.
