chipboard floor

My house is 11 years old and has what i have been told floating chipboard floors downstairs someone has laid ceramic floor tiles straight on top of this floor tiles are cracking now what would be the best way to get these up

a spade indeed. Also have a think about what you going to replace floor covering with instead. These floating floors are rubbish. If in your budget i would think about putting joists and floorboards in unless you stick to a floating floor on top (laminate/real wood) or some type of floor maybe bonded that needs expansion left anyway! Anything else and you may have more problems in the future.
