Not sure if this was the correct place to post.
I fitted a bathroom sink unit and unfortunately I failed to take into account that when the doors open they are not flush with the sides of the unit when open as can be seen in the pics. As I fitted the unit up to the wall, nice and neat I thought, the right side door can't be opened fully as it will hit the wall; didn't realise until I fitted the doors after the unit was all plumbed in etc!
Ok I thought, just change the hinges on the right side door so it opens flush with the side of the unit, the doors are overlayed so I bought a couple of Blum hinges as can be seen in the pic; then I noticed that the hinges that came with the unit are fitted with the cup cut in the side and I've only ever seen these with the cup cut into the door. In efect these hinges are acting like inset rather than overlay.
I'd like to just buy the correct hinges to allow the door to open flush with the side bearing in mind the cup isn't cut into the door.
I'm thinking that I maybe should be looking for inset hinges but I don't want to be throwing different parts at it in the hope that something works. If anyone can advise on the correct type of hinge I should be looking for I'd appreciate it. Failing that I'm probably left with having to cut hinge cups into the door and fill the ones already in the unit side so I can fit hinges in the conventional way.
Thanks in advance

They aren't normal hinges with that crank in them: surely normal ones would do the job the OP wants

Where did you get the units from? Did you query the mistake on the hinge fitting?
Not too sure now as it was some months ago and only just got round to fitting. Unit is stocked at loads of the online retailers and none show a pic of the doors open so i can see the hinge orientation; all stock pics. I'd certainly have no comeback now anyway. The hinges as they are would work if it had space either side; sadly 'dipstick' here didn't fit the doors and realise before doing all the plumbing and fitting it all in!

Certainly need to turn hinges around , they may work , first thing to try to avoid spending more money.

Thanks for that; from all that I have now read I agree; I am probably going to have to cut the cups into the door for my new hinges and do some jiggery pokery to fill the cup holes in the carcass so I can screw the hinge baseplate into it. Oh well, live and learn.

You can use hinge repair plates or simple move the spacing of the hinges.
