Clarke DOL starter

Hi, just wondering if anyone has used these before: http://www.clarkeinternational.com/...on-line-starters/path/accessories-consumables ?
I'm wondering if they are a contactor or one of those spring switches?
It says they are for single or 3 phase motors. I'm suspecting the spring loaded one as they usually stipulate 230v or 400v coil.
I need remote stop so the latter isn't any good.

I don't know about the clarke variety and I winced at the price so shopped around when I needed one, and found:

I would think the Clarke is type to left and the Toolstation one is type to right. So for an emergency stop you need type to right.

Not a contactor, basically an overload, manually operated, used to see them on industrial sewing machines

Thanks all, I have seen them on industrial sewing machines too! I have opted to go with a contactor variety from screwfix, about twice the price of the clarke variety.
