I have a customer who has bought one of these for the corner of a room (not a bathroom); to me you'd class it as a shower, but he want's to class it as a plastic room with a shower inside (once the doors are closed it is fully sealed - it even has a ceiling!)

What are your thoughts??

Shower.

There is no room to undress in there, no place to store clothes while you shower.

If its in a room on its own, then it is a location containing a bath or shower.

If it is within a bedroom for example then it becomes a shower cubicle located in a room other than a bathroom or shower room, and the likes of regulation 601-10-03 must be complied with.

Breezer,

The one my client has is full of gizmos. It has a built in radio, lighting, shower (obviously) and steam room - it probably does loads of other things aswell, but they are for him to find out....

As for shower or what, I personally think that it is a shower and therefore the 3 meter rule does indeed apply. It's a pity for him as the room is only 5m square and that would only allow him to use 2 of the 5 socket positions that I 1st fixed. This shower was a complete after thought!!
