A gas appliance. Or gas central heating boiler aren't White goods
White goods are things like Washing Machines, freezers Microwaves, friges cookers etc etc, or put another way things that can be easily moved and not permanently fixed

i wonder if trading standards would class a boiler in a similar light to white goods. Reason being , i have had good success in claiming for faults on white goods well after the 12 month guarantee has expired.Trading standards say that you have a claim against any white goods product if there is a failure of any part , for upto six years.
