Cleaning my flat?

I normally corner a middle aged woman in the supermarket about this.

I assume this is vinyl and laminate flooring on photo I was going to use floor wipes on laminate and buy a mop for vinyl, sound right? I heard putting too much water on laminate damages it.

How you guys clean kitchen or bathroom tiles cupboards etc?

I use jiff on bath and sink but can't get around tap, should I just leave the jiff there all day?

All purpose kitchen cleaner for tile and cupboards, around taps a foam Descaler which can be left to work . Base of taps use an old toothbrush .

There's a lot of dust in the hole in this bathroom fan. Is it best to take it apart to clean?

You could take it down to clean or vacuum in situ.

Vacuum and a 1" paintbrush (long bristles, cheapest will do).
You can brush it while holding the vac next to it.

And if you think that's dirty I could show you the one at work, its only been there 12 months and is dead already, it looks like its been buried too with the crap thats on it.

How do I get these taps and plughole looking clean? I guess the back of these bath handles is with a toothbrush and limescale remover

I think the finish on the taps and especially the plug hole has been destroyed - or at least compromised - by the use of abrasive cleaners over the years.
Although clean(ish) you won't be able to restore any chrome.
I find Mr Muscle products - both for bathroom and kitchen - are the best out there.

Acid descalers will strip off chrome.

The worst effects are usually seen in places that have a janitor or commercial cleaner.

Read the instructions, which mention wiping off and rinsing.

A water softener will make cleaning very much easier.

The taps look like they might come up ok after descaling, but as has been said, chromewise the plug n plug hole are goosed.

Descaler means limescale remover?

Nah, hard water is better for you. You should really only soften water for non drinking purposes, appliances, showers etc.
