Cleaning when grouting floor tiles

Hi all

Bit of advice needed.

I'm about to grout a newly tiled floor and wasn't sure what process to use when grouting.

I will be grouting starting in the corner furthest away from the door, and then work my way backwards. I'm aware that when you grout, it is best to remove excess grout with a wet sponge around 15 mins after, however how would I get to the corner without walking over the tiles I just grouted on.

Is it ok to walk on recently grouted tiles to clean them? Or is there another way?

Thanks in advance
