Close Coupled WC - I need to change the syphon as the system is difficult to flush. How do I go about this. I inderstand the whole cistern needs to be removed from the wall.
The water inlet pipe is a copper to plastic fitting and seems to have two nuts, do I unscrew the plastic side or the metal or both.
When I unscrew the two retaining screws holding the cistern to the wall will I need to support it or will the bowl take the weight.
Any help welcome
Thanks

you should only need to release the metal fixing nut.

the bowl should easily carry the weight.
