Hello - to anyone with advice/help,

We have a coach house with an internal door going into our garage, at the rear of the house we have a garden. There is a window within the garage that we want to convert into a door (french doors) to gain access to the garden internally. The garage will still remain a garage, no plan to make it a room or anything else.

Would we require any form of permission for this? Or approval? Is there a way to see if our property has had its PD rights removed?

Is it in England or Wales?
Is it a listed building?
Is it in a conservation area?
If so, is there an Article 4 direction attached to that CA?
Are there any conditions attached to any implemented planning permissions?
Are there any covenants mentioned in the deeds?

Hello!!! We are in England, no to all of the above questions, not sure about the conditions attached. We are concerned that a coach house will fall under the same regulations of a flat and therefore no door can be place at the back of the garage.
However a coach house is not a flat.
No covenants mentioned in the deeds either.
