hi guys,
do you know of an electrical wholesaler that may stock coin operated meters. googled it but not many places still make them.
thanks

I last bought one was a recon from Denmans for around £30.

But they might have stopped selling them, as digi ones are more popular now.

QVS have them, but they're £67.....

Edited: QVC?????

thanks securespark.
looks like it will have to be mail order off the net :(

thanks guys for your replies.
would it be a problem installing these meters with 100amp consumer unit?

All my wholesalers stock them - I assumed it was nationwide.

They are typically 60 or 80 amp.

Most domestic properties are not going to ever exceed this, and indeed the majority of service heads have an 80 amp or lower fuse. Rare to see a 100amp even though the service head is usually marked as such.

What is the loading of your "100amp consumer unit"? What is supplied? Immersions? Showers? Elec heating?

It is for a two bed flat. one lighting circuit, two power circuits immersion heater, shower

w/f, newey eyre, edmunson all supply them, but they wont be as cheap as the ones in the links above.

These places will possibly be dearer as they usually only give good discounts to account customers rather than cash sales.
