Cold kids?

Grump of the day:
How often do you get calls from people saying they're important because they have kids - anything between newborns and several years old? They want priority service at a discount.
The kids are always fine, maybe an extra jumper or even, heavens, the hardship of wearing outside clothes indoors.
If someone isn't responsible enough to keep their boiler maintained what are they doing having kids?
Too much whingeing and the price goes up!

asthma
just out of hospital
heart problems and cannot tolerate a temp drop of 2 deg
elderly relatives staying

Somehow after making a 3am call they all seem to still be alive when I get and fit the part needed a day and a half later.

Or my Xmas day call out last year to an elderly couple with no heating. I get there to find the house at about 25degrees as they have 3 gas fires in the house and 4 electric heaters. All of which proberbly heat the house quicker and hotter than there central heating can.

That was probably my parents I cannot believe how hot their house is.
