Hi all,

Builders are stating the architectural cons drawings are specifying two different roofing structures

One warm and one cold roof

I of course would like the warm roof but they are wanting to do the cold roof (i assume to save cost)

Is there an actual discrepancy between the spec as viewed from the two drawings?

I cannot get hold of the architect to clarify!

Warm roof will cost more so probably that.

Also insulation 120mm not a lot should really be at least 150mm.

I as a builder would always opt for a warm roof. Less fuss and less to go wrong. There doesn't seem to be any cold bridge insulation showing in your cold roof diagram either.

My guess is the warm fella will turn out cheaper if they were to do them properly.

With the warm roof, will it be damaged by the fat builder dancing around on it?
