Ok. So finally today I got Dyno.to fix ceiling. They have said they will remove old tank from loft if I sign.a disclaimer to say if they damage anything in process..Then they are not liable.

Whether it be a foot through ceiling or carpet or walls.

Is this fair ?

How are they getting it out of the loft hatch? Are they cutting it up or does it fit through?

This would prob land me back in them refusing to do it. There saying there doing it as goodwill .

Likely hood of this happening is slim. They'll have to have fire extinguisher. They could use back saw on start then jigsaw with metal blade . Or a sabre saw .
