People are odd. I worked with a woman who absolutely hated ginger people - said she could never have a ginger boyfriend and thought they were vile. She also explained once why she would never data a black man, saying "it's not just me none of my friends would, we decided we don't fancy black men". She then dated the bosses son, who was ginger ... that didn't end well!
And I worked with a guy who constantly slated this same woman, calling her racist etc. (justifiably so!). But, he absolutely hated northerners and Scots. Bellend.
I didn't get on well with either of them!

Life is too short to spend with so much negativity. There's a ton more real issues going on than to bother about someone's skin/hair colour and where they may be from.
No, I said yesterday, they take absolutely no notice of colour or breed - but don't like foreigners.
Just pointing out the sillyness of being afraid to say "The black one".

Funny but true, sort of ends with a double negative.... guess what, being judged. It doesn't address why though, well it's 'satire' i know but the joke is on white people. (I dont care per se but long as it works both ways, and yes i did laugh at that uproar the other week about Winston being black that was funny and observation that's all.)
Why is there such insecurity about calling someone black, where does the insecurity lie?
PLaying devils advocate, someone in the room with acne, you wouldn't say him over there, the chap with the spotty complexion, missing hand, prosthetic leg etc. Even though you're not intentionally denigrating his appearance, but it strikes a chord here? I am in no way intending to make a negative association here just exploring!
