i have a 3 way + earth electric cable in my bathroom! I know blue = neutral, red = live the copper wire = earth, but what is the yellow one for?

I'm in the middle of fitting a new light and i only have 3 holes on the new fitting! but i've got four wires to put in to it.

sorry, fraid you are wrong with your thinking, look in the for refernce section to see how its done

Red is usually a constant live, and the yellow a switched live.

BUT

Every house has a strange circuit somewhere, so dont quote me on the above :(

Try the yellow in the live terminal, blue in the neutral and the red in a terminal block.
