Hello I got a floodlight with 3 connection

Live
neutral
Earth

But outside the house has four wires

Live (Red Wire)
neutral (Blue wire)
Earth (Lose Green/Yellow Wire)
Yellow Wire with red sleeve?

What is this yellow wire for and how do i connect this

I connected
L=L
E=E
N=N
Left the yellow wire lose

it worked but i think it went out, bulb busted, I have a switch that is connected to the light but that didnt work when the light was working

any ideas how i should wire these thanks in advance

Red = permanent live
Yellow with red sleeve = switched live.

Connect the yellow to the L terminal in the light, and put the red one in a separate terminal block.

thanks man ur the best the lights working now

will this allow the light to come on automatic without the switch being on or does it work the other way round were u leave the switch on and the light comes on/off automatic

You leave the switch on, and the sensor will switch it on/off as needed.

Some have an override feature where if you switch the light off/on quickly, the light will stay on permanently.
