I have just moved house and have a combi-boiler, a Vokera 20/80 R.S. Flowmatic.

The boiler is in good order and has been serviced last month by the previos owners, but today I have noticed that the pressure has risen from the required 1.5 bar to about 2.5 bar. Does anyone know how to reduce the pressure.

I've turned the system off but me and my little one are freezing. Can anyone please help

thanks
Michelle

No need to turn it off.
See FAQ section - Boiler Pressure Problems. The boiler wasn't serviced very well!!

If it continues rising even when the boiler is off and cold then the filling loop valve may be slightly open.

Its normal for the pressure to rise about 0.4 Bar from cold to hot on heating as the water in the rads expands.
