Got a combi boiler but no heat, I messed with the Drayton timer thing but not sure that stopped the heating. Any ideas of things to try? Attached images of the issue.

You have switched your programmer off. Use the select button on the right hand side to advance the black cursor on the right hand side of the window to either timed, once, which is on at the first time and off at the last, or on which is continuously on. If it also controls the water, then that will also need to be switched likewise, but you may only be using the heating with a combi.

You don't have a combi, you have a regular boiler.

As suggested above Pic1, move the arrow in the right of the programmer's screen using the select button to ON, also your thermostat (stat) in pic 6 is set to frost setting, that needs turned up too >20deg (the batteries in the stat may also need changed if one of the top 2 lights on the RF controller in pic 3 doesn't light up when you turn the stat up).

Just to note .... when you set the arrow to ON, that means the boiler will run constantly, if you want it to come on and off at certain periods, say in the morn then off during the day and then back on in the evening then you need to set the arrow to timed and then adjust the timed settings to suit when you wish it to come on and off.

The same hold true for the left side of the programmer which is your hot water settings, which is also currently set to off.

Not sure which programmer you have as there are a few version of that one but the basic program settings should be the same in this user manual here - https://www.draytoncontrols.co.uk/sites/default/files/UG. IG. LP111_0.pdf

We changed batteries for stat and moved temperature over 20c and set both programs to on but the Honeywelll thing that guess you call RF comes on like it should for 1 second or a few then turns off, when it should stay on.

Now, the heating works but only when you turn the water heating on using the programmer. Turning the regular heating on or off on the programmer changes nothing. Now we’re worried heating will cost a fortune as whenever we want to warm ourselves we gotta the heat water also!!

What batteries did you use in the room thermostat? Alkaline are best, as opposed to zinc batteries that might last a day. You could try pressing the grey override button on the receiver, but this won’t regulate the heat.

Time to get someone in to check through the system and ensure everything is going where it should, when it should ... could be a programmer problem.

Did it work ok before?
